The following excerpts provide an inside look at what you will learn in the course:
  • Using your breathing. How you breathe has a profound effect on your physical and emotional responses to life. When your breathing is rapid and shallow your bloodstream doesn't get enough oxygen, your muscles become tense, your heart rate speeds up, and anxiety and fatigue automatically increase. Is it any wonder that you often feel overwhelmed and out of balance?

    In lesson 1, you'll learn to use your breathing as a tool for improving health and guiding yourself back to a balanced, relaxed state.

  • Focusing your attention. Most often, where we place our attention is unconscious choice. When we center our attention on the activities, obligations and events of our lives, we struggle in vain to manage these demands and maintain control. Truth is, we simple can not control the people and events that happen around us. But, there is something you can control - your attention.

    In lesson 2, you'll learn to shift your attention inside to create an inner ballast that keeps you centered and reconnects you with a sense of control and balance.

  • Neutralizing negative self-talk. Each of us has an estimated 50,000 thoughts a day. Many of our thoughts are in the form of negative "self-talk", which is a major stress provoker. If you're already under stress, negative self-talk only magnifies it, intensifying self-critical feelings and reactions. Most of all, negative self-talk sabotages your inner balance and drags you off course.

    In lesson 3, you'll learn to "eavesdrop" on your negative self-talk and neutralize its impact on you.

  • Letting go of limiting beliefs. Our underlying beliefs (many of them unconscious) form our concept of who we are and what we are capable of being and doing. Over time, these beliefs become so ingrained, they appear as fact. Each time a negative beliefs takes hold, we shrink... and it hurts. We learn to live inside the shell of our own creation. One of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves is to learn to let go of, or modify, the beliefs that hold us captive and cause us pain.

    In lesson 4, you'll learn to identify your limiting beliefs that and take steps to change them.
